Bread Lee 🍞 is a Product Designer 🖥️ by day and a cartoonist 🖍️ by night.
Awkward spelling bees? Lost loves? Pandemic haircuts? Bread's autobio comics are funny, sad, and funnysad. They painstakingly print and bind all their comics, perhaps a masochistic remnant from their design school days. Ngozi Ukazu said of their zine “Boy Problems,” “this is the kind of humor a therapist would call deflecting.”
Born and raised in Texas, Bread is constantly seeking the way the sun hits the Earth just right. In 2021 they received a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and have taken classes at Parsons/The New School and SAIC. They are based in Seattle and are open to tabling, commissions, contract work, collaborations, and more.
